Manufacturing Growth Programme

The Manufacturing Growth Programme (MGP) is the UKs largest and leading business support programme making improvements to Manufacturing SMEs, supporting nearly 5000 projects since 2016.

£18.3m ERDF funded business support programme that helps SME Manufacturers to make sustainable business improvements, increase productivity and competitiveness by identifying, understanding and removing the barriers affecting their growth.

Specialist Manufacturing Growth Managers will provide support to businesses in the West Midlands, Yorkshire and Humber, parts of the East Midlands and South East.

Funding available

  • Grant funding is available and grant values are specific to each business application
  • Minimum grant value of £1,000 > Maximum project value of £10,000
  • Capital grants are available and will be considered for exceptional cases (subject to panel approval)
  • MGP will cover a % of the cost of implementing an improvement project through a grant
